C’è una grande differenza tra noi e le grandi ONG. Alcune di queste ricevono denaro dalle istituzioni e non vivono il problema di provare che gli aiuti ricevuti hanno raggiunto chi ne aveva bisogno; hanno il problema di dimostrare di averli spesi. Dunque è facile trovare in loro salari alti, rimborsi spese assurdi … Sembra che non ci si renda conto che chi lo fa, sfrutta la povertà di chi ha bisogno.
CIPAD riceve denaro dai sacrifici di persone che qui in Italia lottano per vivere e sostenere le proprie famiglie, tuttavia si sentono solidali con i più bisognosi, in condizioni di estrema povertà. La crisi economica in Italia, l’isolamento dovuto al covid… Hanno ridotto il numero dei nostri donatori, che ora son loro a fare fatica a vivere.
Pensando di sfruttare questi aiuti, come se fossero quelli di alcune grandi ONG, si capisce bene cosa significhi; è un … danneggiare gli ultimi, perdere la fiducia e il sostegno degli stessi donatori. Perdendo la fiducia, noi perdiamo enormi possibilità di opportunità per chi ha bisogno.
Ognuno faccia bene la propria, parte coprendo il proprio ruolo senza approfittare, anche se si trattasse di un solo scellino.
There is a big difference between us and the big NGOs. Some of these receive money from the institutions and do not face the problem of proving that the aid received has reached those in need; they have the problem of proving that they have spent it. So it is easy to find in them high wages, absurd expense reimbursements … It seems that one does not realize that those who do it exploit the poverty of those in need.
CIPAD receives money from the sacrifices of people who here in Italy struggle to live and support their families, yet they feel solidarity with the most needy, in conditions of extreme poverty. The economic crisis in Italy, the isolation due to covid… They have reduced the number of our donors, who are now struggling to live.
Thinking of exploiting these aids, as if they were those of some large NGOs, we understand well what it means; it is … harming the least, losing the trust and support of donors. By losing confidence, we miss out on enormous opportunities for opportunities for those in need.
Everyone does his part well by covering his role without taking advantage, even if it were only one shilling.
