Questo lavoro è stato uno degli eventi in cui sono stati impegnati i bambini; poiché quello di aiutare a pulire e trasportare il letame alla serra è un lavoro leggero per loro.
The cow shade carries the animal dung which eventually changed into manure. The cow shade is cleaned periodically when the dug is broken and forms a thick base.
This was one of the events where the children are engaged in light work to help to clean andferry the manure to the greenhouse.
Commerciare le mucche
Quando vi sono i prezzi di mercato favorevoli, abbiamo un progetto per vendere bene le mucche. Preferiamo non vendere tutto in una sola volta, bensì in base alla domanda degli acquirenti e del mercato.
Ad esempio, desidereremmo vendere il toro per kshs 60.000/= – 65000/= o la femmina anziana per kshs 25.000 – 35.000. Tuttavia all’attuale prezzo di mercato,date le dimensioni del corpo e il peso delle nostre bestie, non si presentano acquirenti.
Alcuni membri del nostro staff desiderano acquistare; soprattutto le giovani mucche. Discuteremo questo problema nella nostra prossima riunione del personale prevista per il 12/08/2021.

La mia opinione è che, se il nostro personale svolge bene il proprio lavoro, se lo merita e deve essere sempre favorito.
CIPAD dovrebbe definire qual’è il giusto prezzo di mercato del momento e poi vendere al personale che lo desidera applicando una significativa riduzione del prezzo.
Ciò può anche incentivare il personale ad avere maggior cura delle bestie che potrebbero poi divenire a buon prezzo di loro proprietà.
CIPAD non deve fare affari ma educare a farli; certo che però deve anche avere delle entrate per poter continuare a esistere. Dunque: valutare bene chi merita; applicare sconto sul prezzo di vendita previsto dal mercato.
Bene commerciare le mucche.
Bene favorire l’acquisto da parte del personale che lavora per CIPAD.
Bene anche coinvolgere i bambini nella cura degli animali e della loro stalla; si educano così alla vita secondo la loro tradizione.

Trade the cows
We have a plan to sell the cows based on availability of good market prices. we might not sell all at once but according to demand of the buyers and the market.
For example, we wish to sell the bull for 60,000/= – 65000/= or the older female cow for kshs 25,000 – 35,000.at the current market price for the body size and weight.. buyers have not shown up.yet
Some of our staff members wish to purchase; especially young cows. We will discuss this issue at our next staff meeting scheduled for 08/12/2021.

My opinion is that, if our staff are happy because they do their job well, they should always be favored.
CIPAD should define what is the right market price of the moment and then sell it to the staff who want it by applying a significant percentage reduction in the price.
This can also incentivize staff to take care of the animals which could then become them at a good price. Evaluate well who deserves it; apply a discount on the sale price expected by the market.
CIPAD does not have to do business but educate to do it; of course, however, it must also have income in order to continue to exist.
Well trade cows.
It is good to encourage the purchase by the staff who work for CIPAD.
It is also good to involve children in the care of animals and their stable; thus they are educated to life according to their tradition.
