… gli studenti della scuola secondaria sono molto inquieti. Pensa che durante le vacanze scolastiche sono a casa per 2 mesi, ma solo alcuni di loro sono venuti per consegnare le loro foto e la documentazione necessaria ( da inviare ai loro sponsor che li sostengono). Ormai tutti gli studenti sono a metà semestre, durante i prossimi 4 giorni e cercherò di raggiungerli io a casa loro o anche di contattarli telefonicamente dove si trovano per vedere se riesco a mettere a tua disposizione le loro foto (da inviare ai loro sponsor).
… this secondary school students are very much disturbing.imagine they stay at home for 2months over the holiday but just a few of them came for their pictures and documentations. For the next 4 days now all students are in mid-term and I shall try to reach them to their homes or even by phone where they are and see if i can manage to make their photos available for you.

D’altra parte abbiamo gli sponsor in attesa di aggiornamenti e da loro dipende il futuro del progetto. Ti ho mandato la mia lista degli studenti che non si sono presentati portando i risultati scolastici e le loro foto; molti di loro sono sponsorizzati. Sto proprio pensando che G. On our side we have the sponsors waiting for updates and the future of the project depends on them. You received my list of students who did not show up with results and pictures, many of them are sponsored. I am really wondering about G. D., the two sisters G. and T. W., D. G. and many, many others. They are really pushing the whole Sololo project in big problems. Thanks always for your committment

La scorsa settimana mi sono messo nei guai quando ho visitato la famiglia X a Sololo Makutano. Era solo per avere notizie di come stessero le due ragazze studentesse. C. S. e N. S. che hanno completato rispettivamente la scuola primaria e la scuola tecnica.
Quando sono arrivato alla loro abitazione, c’erano 6 persone in casa, 3 ragazze e 3 ragazzi tutti … . Ho bussato alla porta ma si sono rifiutati di farmi entrare. Ho deciso di entrare ugualmente, … mi hanno … e costretto a uscire di casa. N. e uno dei loro ragazzi erano tra questi ma C. e la loro madre non erano in casa.
Mentre stavo tornando per strada ho visto C. S. e le ho contestato l’accaduto affinché lo riferisse alla mamma. Fino ad ora non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta dalla loro madre.

when i reach at home, there were 6 people in the house, 3 girls and 3 boys all on … .I knocked at the door but they refused to let me inside. I decided to go in without permission, here is when they … me and forced me out of the house. N. and one of their boy was among the people but C. and their mother were not at home, as i was going back i saw C. S. on the street and reported the matter so that this information to reach Mama.
up to now i did not receive any response from their mother.

Talvolta non aiutarli più, ossia smettere di sostenerli, significa fare il loro bene.
Quando non partecipano più alla loro crescita e si comportano come se gli fosse tutto dovuto, fare il loro bene è: non aiutarli più.
La stessa cultura Borana insegna che tu vieni aiutato dalla comunità solo se tu non hai responsabilità per il danno che hai subito. Ti rubano gli animali nonostante le tue ottime cure per loro, ognuno deve aiutarti in ragione di quanti animali lui possiede. Perdi i tuoi animali per una tua responsabilità, nessuno ha il dovere di aiutarti.
