I nostri attuali donatori stanno già dando tutto quello che possono. Durante la siccità hanno fatto ancora più sacrifici per fare fronte agli aumenti dei prezzi sui vostri mercati e cercato di incrementare il più possibile il numero delle persone aiutate.
Credo che questo lo abbiate ben visto tutti. Siamo riusciti a mantenere i consueti standard e son certo che in molti si sono salvati proprio grazie a questi aiuti. In molti di voi non ce l’hanno fatta.
I nostri attuali donatori non sono pozzi senza fondo dai quali si può pescare ininterrottamente.
Poter garantirvi ciò che già ricevete è, credetemi, difficilissimo e va considerato un continuo successo il riuscirci.
Non siamo come le grandi organizzazioni finanziate dai governi; quelle che fanno anche gli interessi degli ultimi. Noi facciamo solo gli interessi dei più indifesi e dimenticati, supportati da pochi amici.
Oggi non possiamo chiedere di più agli attuali sostenitori; anche dal punto di vista morale, non sarebbe giusto.
Possiamo solo informarli e chiedergli di farci conoscere ad altri loro amici.
Al momento, se non troviamo nuovi sostenitori, non c’è proprio possibilità di fare di più.
Capisco che la situazione a Sololo è molto pesante e che lo è per tutti.
So che questo sarebbe proprio il momento di aiutare di più per favorire la ripartenza e la ricostruzione.
Purtroppo la situazione è che, in Italia e nel mondo, ci sono molti problemi che distolgono sempre di più l’attenzione che si dovrebbe dare costantemente agli ultimi. Prendono sempre più piede regole egoistiche che portano ad accumulare ricchezza in chi l’ha già e a rendere maggiormente povero chi lo è.
Aiutare i bisognosi è una cosa da ricchi ma il più delle volte sono i poveri a farlo.
In questi termini, noi siamo i poveri che cercano di convincere i ricchi che se ci aiutassero non diventerebbero anche loro poveri, ma solo un pochino meno ricchi.

Stiamo continuamente seminando sperando nella Bontà Divina che sciolga qualche cuore in nostro favore.
Tutti dovremmo cercare di farlo verso i nostri e i vostri connazionali benestanti più fortunati.
Tutti dovremmo continuare a pensare, oltre che a noi, a chi sta peggio di noi e senza giudicare chi sta meglio; solo lui e Dio sanno se può o non può fare di più.
Questo accade quando si rifiuta di investire nel proprio villaggio e lo si visita solo durante le vacanze o per partecipare ad una cerimonia. Per favore ricordati sempre della tua casa perché non ci sono altri posti come la propria casa.
